With another Christmas come all those great little gadgets that seem to get better and more expensive each and every year. One item that caught my eye was the new Nikon D90. I had been looking to upgrade my D40 as I was starting to really feel all the limitations, and was quite intrigued by all of the fancy features this new camera had to offer.

However, with the release of new gadgets come greats price slashes of old ones! I searched up the D80 and was soon able to find a great deal on a Nikon D200 - a camera that was going for $1800 USD only 3 years ago!! I hope to receive this within the next two weeks (courtesy of ebay), and couldn't be more excited about continuing my evolution as an amateur photographer.

On an equally serious and happy side-note, my girlfriend is doing very well now and is slowly starting to be able to drive again as well. Thanks to all those who wished her well and offered us support!!

My gf is sick in the hospital. She may have had a stroke, but it is not yet known what her condition is. I ask of those that know me or are friendly with me that you please pray for her and her family, even if you are not particularly religious or do not subscribe to a defined faith. Thank you in advance.

I bought a new camera (a Nikon D40 with stock lens) the other day and I was fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity today to have my first real photo shoot with a model (my good friend Amy). I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out, and hope to continue to improve with each additional shoot. Thanks to everyone for all the continued support and an extra special thanks to Amy who was great and had many fantastic ideas throughout.

I've recently gone through my gallery, and took the opportunity to do some much needed Spring Cleaning.

I have decided to really start going harder on myself and what I submit on here. Also, I noticed that a lot of my original pics were way too large in Full View, so I've gone back, resized, and re-cropped several old photos and will continue to do more of the same over the next couple of weeks. Anyways, thanks to everyone that come to my site and check out my picts!

I can assure that from now on, I will only display better and much improved art.

So I just got back from Guadalajara today, and I must say it was the best vacation I have ever been on. So beautiful, the people were amazing, and everything was basically perfect.

While I was there, I took lots and lots of picts on film and since I love most of them (and the fact that it cost me $$ to print them all! ], I will be spending a lot of the next couple of days uploading as many as possible.
